Cherries are consumed in massive amounts yearly around the world and have long been linked to sexual activity. Numerous theories exist as to why they are so potent as an aphrodisiac and they are often married with chocolate making them a sure fire sex aid.
So here is an interesting fact – Cherry Girl is the name given to a virgin waitress that works in a bikini bar or whore house in Thailand and the Philippines. So guys don’t ignore your cherry girl…
They had recently returned from a magical trip to Japan to explore the annual delicate pink Cherry Blossom festivals, visiting several locations travelling south to north from Maruyama Park, Mount Yoshino, Himeji Castle, to Fuji Five Lakes which was organised by wendywutours. But their favourite was centred around Maruyama Park where the beauty of the cherry blossom was enhanced by paper lanterns hung amongst the cherry blossom – known as Sakura. At dusk there were stunning light shows amongst the shimmering blossom.
Then they had savoured the heady aroma of barbeques and street food stalls. Sakura petals were soaked in salt in a process called “shiozuke” to produce a distinctively flavoured delicacy called “sakurazuke.” The final result is usually put on bread or wrapped around a red bean curd to create a traditional Japanese treat called Sakura mochi.
They had danced under the lights and drank tart Cherry Fizz cocktails made with cherry brandy, vodka, kirsch and
sparkling grape juice topped with maraschino cherries and sucked excitedly through a straw. Wanda had chosen especially for this occasion Marseille Cherry Red lingerie from Bluebella with a pretty flowing dress and ‘come and have me’ red and gold high heeled boots from Halloween Costumes.
Roque was definitely in line for a little afternoon delight…
To celebrate this magical adventure Roque planned a ‘cherry’ dinner just for two.
Having shopped and planned and prepared he entered the soft cherry red candle lit dining room with cherry blossom in the shape of a heart interspersed with ripe red cherries across the dinner table where they had previously made love as the sun went down.
The Foreplay was Sautéed Cherry Tomatoes with Garlic and rosemary.
Firstly, he heated a good slosh of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium to high heat. Once the oil was smoking hot he added 500g fresh cherry tomatoes, 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 2 large cloves of garlic, finely chopped, good pinch of cracked black pepper and the same of rock salt. He then sautéed the tomatoes, shaking the pan to cook evenly until the skins began to wrinkle.
This was served on warmed ciabatta with a flourish of chopped parsley and a chilled glass of d’Esclans ‘Whispering Angel’ Rosé Cotes de Provence rose wine, seductively pink with hints of ripe strawberries and wild basil.
He had chosen their favourite female violinist Katica Illenyi to serenade them – there is something so very seductive about girls playing violin. The album was Tango Classic…
They kissed, enjoyed the Tart Cherry Fizz cocktail and then he presented his signature dish – Muscovy duck breast with rich cherry sauce (Roque loved a nice breast) served with those favourite aphrodisiacs caramelised apples and broad beans with crushed walnuts.
When they had finished Roque took a small parcel from his pocket and said “this is to make your evening orgasmic.” She opened the package to reveal a Cherry spot vibrator – Ricky’s Ultimate Wand Massager. She gasped in excitement “thank you darling” and she kissed him with one of those long lingering kisses.
His Main Event was spectacular – he took 2 Muscovy duck breasts, patted them dry on kitchen paper and with a sharp knife he lightly scored each breast about 5 times – this helps to let the fat render out and adds flavour to the meat. Season both sides with freshly milled black pepper and salt.
Next heat a dry heavy based frying pan then lay the duck skin-side down and fry over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. The duck will let out some fat during this so spoon it out and keep it for later. Once the duck skin is golden brown, turn it over for another minute to seal the other side.
Now transfer the breasts to a roasting pan and cook in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 12-15 minutes. It needs to be pink in the centre ( the same colour as Wandas bottom when she has begged for a ‘I’ve been a bad girl spanking!’). Once cooked leave it to rest covered in kitchen foil.
Now back to the frying pan, add half the duck fat. Add 2 banana shallots, finely diced, 500g fresh pitted juicy cherries and cook until soft, now add 2 tbsp runny honey, 150ml chicken stock, half a glass of good port and a dsp of fresh chopped thyme.
Turn the heat up and keep stirring until you have a delicious thick syrup.
Now slice each duck breast into 2cm slices and place on a warmed dinner plate. Pour over the divine cherries with the syrup, add the vegetables and serve to a delighted audience.
You’ll see gold stars in her eyes…
In time and still enjoying the music, Roque had decided to make ‘the Just Dessert’ simple so he scooped Ben & Jerrys Chocolate Cherry Garcia ice cream into one bowl to share and poured a generous measure of Belvedere Summer Vodka over the ice cream.
A great meal in celebration of their sensational, erotic Japanese trip.
Wanda picked up a big red cherry from the table and just before she popped It between her lips she whispered, “Come to bed darling and nibble my cherry”. Then crawling to the bedroom on all fours she offered him her beckoning finger….
