Almond crusted duck with passion fruit sauce
Their ‘Passionate Duck’ as Wanda described this sexy dish. Roqué knew that the scent of almonds drove Wanda wild so he had a dish of the finest Marcona almonds roasting on the stove just to tease and titillate.
Once cooked brush the breasts with honey (oh yes!) then leave the breast to rest in a warm place (!), serve with rocket salad and wild rice.
Armagnac
This delicious libation is a beautiful kind of brandy produced in the Armagnac region in Gascony, southwest France where Roqué and Wanda had visited last summer. Its seductive colour reflects magnificently in candle light and its aroma is so very sexy.
Armagnac marries so well with apricots, figs, prunes, chestnuts and especially chocolate – it’s also a great dessert blended with ice cream.
Nori & chilli prawn fried rice
This is one of Roqué and Wanda’s favourite romantic dishes for sharing. It’s a sensuous combo of Nori seaweed (Wanda always fancied being a mermaid!), long grain rice, fresh sticky garlic, spring onions and large delicious prawns all served in a hollowed out pineapple shell with a splosh of sweet chilli sauce.
Naughty by Nature cocktail
This is the ultimate ‘come and get me’ cocktail. Wanda dressed in a tight red dress and red patent stilettos served this to Roqué with every intention of getting his attention…This naughty cocktail is blends cognac, dark Caribbean rum, pear puree and vanilla syrup shaken and served over crushed ice and Wanda had wrapped a fishnet stocking around the stem of his cocktail glass – naughty!

Noodle fish soup also known in Burma as Mohinga
Friends of theirs Chris & Claire, both hot air balloon pilots, spent last summer in Myanmar and served this dish to Wanda & Roqué on their return. Claire is one of those girls always ‘bound to please’ and loves her naughty lingerie – got the picture? This delicacy is made with catfish, chilli, red onions, garlic lemongrass & vermicelli noodles. Perfect sharing dish to get the ‘party’ started.
Naughty ice cream heart cakes
Red and black candles were lit and bound together – Wanda was so jealous! A shower of dark chocolate covered coffee beans set the scene for a feast of chocolate brownies cut into hearts and filled with the best Haagen das Tiramisu Speculoos ice cream.
Nutmeg – the aphrodisiac
Nutmeg was highly prized by Chinese women as an aphrodisiac. A light sprinkling of the spice in a warm pumpkin soup can help perk up your sex life. Hailing from Indonesia, nutmeg is grated fresh into soufflés, soups, stews, jerk seasoning and cauliflower cheese.

This one’s for your partner - ask them to open a ripe fig and eat it seductively in front of you. Romance is all about mood, light and the right atmosphere. Having eaten lobster on the shores of the Indian Ocean they discovered this sexy lighting. Take a large tomato cut it open like a flower, place the tea light in the centre, turn off all the other lights and enjoy staring into each others eyes while you eat.

Romantic food doesn’t have to be demanding Wanda said. She had prepared a favourite dish to tear and share with Roqué (apart from wanting to tear his clothes off). Wanda had bought a rosemary and black olive focaccia loaf warm from the local bakery, it smelt amazing. Next door at the deli she bought a Vacherin Mont D’or artisan cheese. This was warmed in the oven until it was gooey, runny and delicious ready to dip torn chunks of focaccia in and share – no the cheese, not him this time…
Tiramisu
If you ever needed a reason to indulge your lover then Tiramisu is definitely the answer. Roqué made this sumptuous dessert with ‘ladyfingers’ dipped in strong espresso coffee and Masala wine with layers of cocoa flavoured mascarpone cheese, egg yolks and sugar. He would blindfold Wanda and feed her one delicious spoonful after the other with a kiss in between.
Italian Kiss cocktail
Imagine being in the Piazza della Signoria, the most famous square in Florence, standing by the beautiful statues from the Renaissance era which decorate this Piazza. That is where Wanda sat when Roqué brought her this cocktail. An oh so sexy combination of Amaretto, orange juice, ice cold vodka, segments of clementines set in ice cubes. Just soak in the love, lust and desire…
Intense mood enhancing aromas
Don’t ever underestimate the value of mood enhancing aromas. Wanda was a huge fan of almonds, women love the scent of almond so make sure when you are cooking for her you include almonds, they are a strong aphrodisiac.
Then fill the room with jasmine it is the most sensual of all natural scents. Wanda can confirm that sandalwood in the bedroom (or on the kitchen table) produces more powerful orgasms. Roqué loves to kiss Wanda all over when she had bathed with pink grapefruit soap so very sexy... don’t miss out on these little helpers.
Italian Meat balls – soft and juicy…
There is a hint of romance in all Italian cooking Roqué said. He should know his grandmother was Italian and she made the most amazing meat balls. She mixed ground pork and ground beef with spicy Italian sausage, garlic, onions and cooked them over an open stove before serving them with a shower of parsley and local Parmesan cheese. No romantic menu would be complete without ‘ice-cream’ oodles of it soft and pink or minty and chocolate or the sensuous luxury of vanilla caramel. It’s not just about the flavour or the decadence but its how teasingly you eat it. Ice cream is a must for lovers to share.
Indonessian Sambal
Indonesian Sambal is basically a hot chilli sauce to mix with rice, meat, fish or vegetables. Here Roqué is cooking for his lover, Wanda. She likes ‘hot and spicy’…
He takes 3 chillies, a clove of garlic, 6 banana shallots, diced tin tomatoes, palm sugar, lemon grass and lots of passion. He pounds the ingredients in a pestle & mortar before frying them in oil and finishing with freshly squeezed lime juice. Hot and sexy romantic recipes!
Caviar & Champagne
The night they invented champagne they surely invented romance. This chilled glass of bubbles suggests celebration, love, happiness and desire. Drink from a ‘coupe’ as this was created from an image of Marie Antoinette’s breasts. Caviar on the other hand was the food of the gods. 
Traditionally caviar refers only to roe from wild sturgeon in the Caspian and Black Sea – how romantic is that? But they preferred Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon Caviar for its distinctive orange glow.
Serve your lover champagne in coupes and caviar on thin white toast and they will be yours forever.
Coco de Mer lingerie
Roque was aware that most girls have their favourite lingerie house but his one is Roque’s. He just loves the way Wanda makes it into a work of art as she slides into bras and knickers, stockings and suspenders with a hand clutching the new Coco de Mer ‘toy’, a Paul Seville Scarlet Red Snakeskin Paddle. Look out Roqué here she comes.
Champagne Salad
Roqué served this champagne salad by candlelight with bronze candle sticks to infuse the room with the sweet, spicy and exotic aroma of patchouli candles.
Wanda served Roqué sweet strawberries drenched in the champagne and maple syrup dressing while he caressed the statue as if it was the most intimate part of his lover’s body.
Cocktail for a Pink Stripper
This cocktail is also known as the pink panty dropper! No surprise there as it mixes Vodka, Cranberry Juice and Pink champagne all served over crushed ice in a high ball glass with a cherry. Wanda loved to wear pink so this one was very special to them both – especially the AKA!
Candles
Candles say ‘romance’- romance says candles. Roqué would fill Wanda’s bathroom, their bedroom, the dining room even the kitchen with just candle light to woo his lover (and it always worked). ‘Cuddle me by candle light’ Wanda would coo and he always did.
