Setting the scene
Pullman Pork Sliders
Slider buns popped out from the grill and sizzling pulled pork marinated in Pullman spices of hickory, garlic and onion were set with crispy lettuce and deep red ruby coleslaw.
A platter to share as they caressed each other’s bodies with their minds while the tiny bubbles from the Brazilian Cava sparkled in the candle light.
Soft saxophone jazz played in the background as their two lives moved closer and drifted into one.
For 2 lovers
Pullman Pork Sliders
Get on with it…
First make the spice mix by combining in a bowl ½ tsp cracked black pepper, ½ tsp garlic granules, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder, ½ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp ground ginger & 2 tsp hickory smoke powder.
Lay a 1kg piece of pork shoulder in a roasting dish & score the meat with a sharp knife.
Rub the pork all over with the spice mix & massage into the cracks – this bit should be familiar! Cover with clingfilm & leave in the fridge overnight.
Preheat the oven to 150C. Remove the film & pour 1ltr chicken stock around the meat. Cover with a lid or foil & cook for 3 hours. Remove the cover & cook for a further 2 hours to get a crispy crust.
Leave to rest for a while & then with 2 forks pull it apart in shreds.
Toast 6 slider buns & then layer each base with lettuce, a dollop of ruby coleslaw & then pile on the pulled pork. Time to get messy! Devour these delightful little buns & dream of being in the Pullman coach together.

Feed the desire…
The flavour & heat in ginger comes from 3 oils – gingerol, shogaol & zingerone – great names!
Ultimately through a biological sequence they can cause a warming effect that can become totally arousing.
Good old ginger is great for the immune system and even greater for your libido. Ginger root acts as a stimulant to the circulatory system, increasing blood flow to the genitals.
