Passionate Seafood Cocktail

Hi Pablo here, bringing you another sexy recipe from www.redshoes12.co.uk. I’m sure you’ve all made a prawn cocktail but I’m going to show you how to really sex it up, pack it with flavour & pile it with aphrodisiacs.

First let’s think outside the box or rather inside the tin. I’ve collected different sized tins, thoroughly cleaned them & then painted them different colours. We’re going to load all our scrumptious ingredients into these to make a real difference.

First, pan fry 6 raw giant shell-on prawns in some garlic butter & then allow them to cool.

So here’s what’s going into our passionate prawn cocktail. Shredded crispy lettuce, and halved cherry tomatoes. Way back in history tomatoes were known as ‘love apples’. They are vibrant, plump & juicy, full of wonderful things to help your energy & love making. Next cooked king Prawns which have a longstanding reputation as an aphrodisiac mostly thanks to the rich nutrients they contain which help to maximise the mood. Then Crabmeat, a popular choice for enhancing a romantic date. It’s a zinc powerhouse especially for the guys. Finally eight hard boiled (about 4 minutes) quails eggs cut in half.

Now make Marie Rose sauce with 6 tablespoons mayonnaise, 4 tablespoons good old tomato ketchup, 1 tablespoon tomato puree, a teaspoon horseradish (a magic ingredient) & flourish of smoked paprika.                                     

Now to assemble. Lettuce, tomato, prawns, crabmeat, egg & sauce. Rep

eat creating two layers and finish with some extra sliced egg, a sprinkle of paprika & a wedge of lemon.

Now for the really sexy bit. Drape the giant shell-on prawns round the outside of the tin – wow! Serve to your lover with heart shaped bread & butter & just watch them dribble the juice as they bite into those succulent prawns. Passion perfect or what !! Served with Pouilly Fume from the banks of the Loire.
