Hello, Pablo here with a truly seductive breakfast for the morning after. Whether you’ve had a night of lust after the perfect date night (then you’ll definitely need this!) or been partying until sunrise a smoothie is the perfect breakfast solution. Quick & easy to make & packed full of goodness.
Whilst pureed fruits were drunk in ancient times the modern smoothie was born in the 1930’s in the USA. It evolved alongside the invention of the electric blender. They can be green vegetable blends or protein rich fitness blends, but I just love juicy, plump fresh fruits & creamy rich yoghurt.
There are any number of smoothies on the market to buy but so much better & fresher to make your own. All you need is some seasonal fruit and a simple blender.
You can use any fruit you have. Here I’m using banana, plums, apricots, apples, pears, strawberries & blueberries together with honey and Greek style yoghurt. Its worth peeling the bananas, wrapping them in cling film and freezing them. This way they really add to the texture of your smoothie.
Simply prepare your fruit, removing any stones, grab the yoghurt & you’re good to go. Pop the fruit, 3 tbs yoghurt, good drizzle of honey and a few ice cubes into the blender, blitz until smooth & pour into a glass.
Now let’s add a little pizzazz & sex it up. Cut halfway up a strawberry & pop it on the rim, a lush sprig of mint & some edible flowers. Here I’ve got nasturtiums & there you have it. Passion in a glass.
