Fresh fruit terrine
Chocolate Kisses and Love Bites. It was one of those soft focus lazy Sunday mornings. The silver mist which covered the land gently lifted, painting a vibrant summer landscape in its path. There was a warm breeze sliding through the open door from the garden to the kitchen.
Wanda was busy preparing a fresh fruit terrine of local strawberries, raspberries from the garden, mango and blueberries. This was her favourite dish and consisted of layers of fruit built up, finished with a row of mango hearts and encased in a rose wine jelly. See Video here.
Sex Olympics
She wore Roque’s yesterday shirt – her favourite – Genshuo red shoes and an Agent Provocateur Demelza black thong, a weekend present from Roqué. She loved it and he loved feeling the soft black fabric warmed by her body.
She continued to slice the fruit although her legs were getting weak…Roqué sat back in the old wicker chair by the door reading the latest reports of the wine crops of France – essential information for forward buying for their wine cellar.
Roqué had bare feet and wore his overnight boxers onto which Wanda had sewn a Union Jack – some reference to the Sex Olympics, with a t-shirt printed as a homage to Gilbert White who in 1763 was the first person to add an ‘x’ (kiss) to a love letter. The print also read “I kiss for England too” – flash bugger!
Chocolate Kisses and Love Bites.
National Kissing day
Roque looked up at Wanda and saw on her neck a red blob – surely not a ‘love bite’ he questioned. Love bites were a sort of claim ‘she’s my girl’ when he was a teenager but not a current practice. By coincidence the real sexy, raunchy song ‘Love Bite’ was playing on the radio by Halestorm sung by that deliciously powerful, sexy woman Lzzy Hale.
Roqué moved towards Wanda, removed the offending slither of strawberry and replaced it with a lingering kiss. He thought back to July 6th, National Kissing Day when he had covered his lover with kisses from head to toe – no more needs saying…This is a day all lovers need to keep in their diaries.
Love Bites in the bath
She had bathed using her new Love Bite – Foaming Body Scrub deliciously decadent with hints of raspberries, Roses and vanilla Cream and to her surprise Roqué had crept in showering her with fragrant pink rose petals.
The morning had broken with a wow and Wanda was now planning a special dinner.
Love Bite Cocktail
No messing about she decided to start with a Devils Love Bite cocktail. A sensuous fusion of fresh strawberries – these little edible Valentines are sensual, sexy and zinc loaded – and we love the slut red sex appeal mixed together with fresh lemon juice and white rum. She served them in Martini glasses garnished with a pink salt rim and a slice of strawberry.
They would start with slices of water melon with ‘LOVE’ – and a love bite bitten out – scrummy.
Water melon has an effect similar to Viagra and in turn it can bring on erect nipples, sexual flush and a gun in the trousers in the words of Mae West. This was definitely ‘Love at first bite!’
Love Bites – dinner platter
Dinner had to be Love Bite sized to follow the theme so together they had prepared mini tacos with slivers of steak, chilli and chocolate, roasted vegetable kebabs with home made hummus, bacon wrapped artichoke hearts and dark chocolate and wild mushroom mille feuille.
Wild mushrooms are known to promote female sexual ecstasy and the ancient Egyptians believed that mushrooms could provide spontaneous female sexual satisfaction… A veritable finger licking plate of Love Bites.
Chocolate kisses
For dessert came mini stacks of Amaretti biscuits and rose petal ice cream served with Hershey Chocolate Kisses and deluxe Belgian chocolate lipsticks. Wanda applied some to her pale pink lips and gave Roqué a deep and lingering chocolate kiss. Chocolate is one of the most potent aphrodisiacs !
He then presented her with a book called Chocolate Kisses: A Kissing Junction Novella paperback a raunchy bedtime reading…So time for bed – save the book for another time!
With Love from Roqué and Wanda xx
Wanda’s recipe for the rose petal ice cream
Get on with it…
Place 250g caster sugar and 2 handfuls of washed rose petals in a food processor, whizz to make a puree. Add 240ml double cream and 240ml of milk to a saucepan and add the sugar and rose petal puree.
Now simmer over a medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Set aside Whisk 6 egg yolks adding them to the hot cream mixture, whisking all the time. Now add a few drops of rose water. Pop the pan back on a medium heat stirring all the time. When the mixture has thickened press it through a sieve into a bowl and leave it to cool.
If you have an ice-cream maker, then you’ll know what to do, otherwise spoon the mixture into a plastic bowl and freeze. It is very important to stir the ice cream every 30 minutes for at least 2 hours. Serve and enjoy. Your lover will be well impressed!
Roqué’s recipe for traditional hummus
Get on with it…
400g dried chickpeas soaked overnight and then boiled in salted water with garlic, onions, peppercorns and carrots. Boil on high for 20 minutes and then reduce to a simmer for about an hours until the chick peas are soft. Drain BUT sieve and keep the liquid but remove all but the chick peas.
Place the cooled chickpeas in a food processor, add 2 cloves garlic, 2 table spoons of Tahini, the juice of 1 lemon and 2-3 tablespoons of the retained liquid, set the machine to on. Now drizzle in good olive oil until you have the right consistency. Add more lemon juice or a bit more of the retained liquid if the hummus is too thick.
